Brief description: Cuc Phuong National Park is located 100km south of Hanoi in Ninh Binh province. The park is conveniently located on the route to several tourist attractions, including Bich Dong Pagoda, Hoa Lu. It was officially opened in 1960 as the first national park in Vietnam. Cuc Phuong National Park is surrounded by several limestone cliffs, the highest being May Bac, meaning silver cloud, with a height of 656m. There are plenty of plants and mammals living in the park. There are an estimated 2,000 different species of flora and the 450 species of fauna that account for 38% of the national fauna
Detailed Tour Itinerary
Pick you up at 8.00am at your hotel in Hanoi, then depart for Cuc Phung national park, to the Southwest of Hanoi, it takes about 2,5 hours(110km) to get to Cuc Phuong national park.
We will firstly visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation, breeding, research, and conservation of endangered primates, and to the protection of their habitats.
Then go deeper into the park, stop to discover an ancient human cave, have lunch at house-on-stilts in the park’s centre.
Take a short trek into the National Park, for sightseeing and to learn more of fauna and flora in the oldest forest of Vietnam. Return to the Park Centre, then take your vehicle (Car/Van) and head back to Hanoi.
